Lyrics - Nothing in Common
Jon Gray
she watches lifetime original movies
Oprah and the View
and if you gave her Oxygen
i bet she'd watch that too
i'd like to change the channel
but i know she'll throw a fit
she'd beat me like judge judy
no i can't take much more of this
please, just get her off my back
i can't stand her face
i wish she would get some taste
these subtle differences kill me
eat my fragile dignity
why am i doing this to myself?
we've got nothing in common
still i can't help but stay
i guess i'll keep her company
until someone better comes my way
call me superficial
but at least i'm not alone
i hope someday i'll bring the right one back home
she doesn't get my sense of humor
she thinks my mouth is foul
i can't wait to upgrade her
but i guess she'll have to do for now
i wish i had incentive
pride or motivation
i'm stuck with her for two reasons:
my looks and occupation
